3. Who are we? (FHV Management Board)

1. History
FHV was established in 2007 with the renowned Free Hugs Campaign 2007 attracting nearly 1000 students in 4 major cities: Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Hai Phong, and Nha Trang. Afterwards FHV had to temporarily postpone its operations since most members of the management board went to study abroad. In June 2009, FHV resumed its activities in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh  with strategic changes in its mission and vision.

2. Distinctives
FHV is an organization for and managed by students. Most FHV members fall in the age range of 16-23 and are able to communicate in at least one foreign language.

We display a marked sense of globalization and willingness to assimilate different world cultures, and in turn introduce the Vietnamese culture to  international friends.
